Among African nations, Cameroon are probably one of the two strongest teams on paper to do anything at the 2022 World Cup . Unfortunately, the ” Indomitable Lions ” did not inherit the easiest group to get out of the group stage, unlike Senegal for example. The reigning African champion was much better off in the draw as only the Netherlands seem clearly superior to the Teranga Lions .

Conversely, Cameroon will have to fight hard to hope to get out of the group stage. Then, the Cameroonians will have to do better than Switzerland and Serbia , two serious contenders in Europe.
