The alert press release that reached the editorial staff of our colleagues does not give more details on this situation.

” Alert ! Reports reaching the North West section of the Syndicate of Journalists of Cameroon (SNJC) indicate that one of its members Frederick Takang was abducted in Bamenda. The BBC World World Service correspondent was abducted this Thursday, May 26, 2022 in the early evening hours and taken to an unknown destination with his silver Camry car… ”, writes the communication and alerts secretariat of the National Union of Journalists of the North West Cameroon.
