The editorial staff of CameroonWeb has just learned of the death of Ezoa Alex, a young Cameroonian beaten to death in Algeria this Thursday, July 21, 2022.
According to whistleblower N’zui Manto, the young Cameroonian is an illegal immigrant who was trying to get to Europe by crossing Algeria. He couldn’t cross this country alive. Alex had done the hardest part. He was about to return to Tunisia when a group of Algerians fell on him and other Cameroonians who also tried the adventure.
“Ezoa Alex fleeing the misery of Cameroon found himself in Algeria after having taken to the desert like thousands of other Africans. While he and his comrades avoided being pushed back, they were attacked by a group of Algerians on the border with Tunisia. Ezoa will receive clubs and other objects to the body while trying to defend himself against his attackers”, writes the whistleblower.
“His companions in the adventure will nevertheless manage to cross the border and take him to a clinic in Soukra in Tunisia where he will be declared dead,” he adds.
