THE COCA-COLA COMPANY ANNOUNCES ITS RUPTURE WITH BRASSERIES DU CAMEROUN
In a press release dated May 27, 2022, signed by the General Manager of the Société Anonyme des Brasseries du Cameroun (SABC) Group; a subsidiary of the Castel Group announces the cessation of all activities with the giant The Coca-Cola Company scheduled for July 1, 2022; whose products it has been bottling and distributing since the early 1960s.
In this press release, we can read that the SABC group ensured ”the production, the communication and the commercial operations of the products of the range Coke” since 59 years that is to say ensured of the bottling to the distribution. Of these products one can quote Coca-cola, Coca-cola Zero, Fanta and Sprite.
In other words the two entities will end their partnership on July 1, 2022. And it also reassures the general public that the termination of this contract comes by mutual agreement between the two entities.
And thanks at the same time The Coca-cola Company for its confidence that he has given him during all these years. After 59 years, the partnership between SABC and The Coca-Cola Company ends by mutual agreement. The SABC Group thanks The Coca-Cola Company for all these years of collaboration”. Says the release.
In addition, the SABC Group reassures its customers on its commitments to provide them with better quality products, at the best price while ensuring a permanent distribution network in the respect of the environment.
Thus, the ABC Group presented its business strategy which is, among others, that of “ensuring quality in all its forms, in compliance with international and national standards of our Group (ISO 9001 2015, FSSC 22000, NC …) – providing effective support to our distributors to build sustainable performance … contribute to the development of Cameroon under our CSR program (Education – Health – Environment – Sport – Arts and Culture)”.
Finally, the Sabc Group reassures its customers that it “will continue to implement its strategy of development of food beverages, in close collaboration with its many partners, to meet the dynamic demand of its consumers.
