The new showdown between the duo Samuel Eto’o and General Pierre Semengue on one side and the club presidents on the other turn to the advantage once again of the president of the Cameroonian Football Federation. Indeed, the club presidents in a recent outing had threatened not to resume the return phase of the championship before the effective provision of the subsidies promised by Samuel Eto’o.

In the process, Samuel Eto’o invited the Presidents of clubs to come with proof of payment of the salaries of their players. In the meantime, given the procedure, a slight extension has been made.

Only, some club presidents still threatened to boycott the return phase. Finally, after negotiations, the association of club presidents comes to their senses

“The Emergency Committee of the Association of Elite Clubs of Cameroon (ACEC), meeting this May 14, 2022, after having taken note of the Communiqué of the President of FECAFOOT on the provision of financial facilities to the various championships, asks all Clubs, pending the effectiveness of the related operations, as well as the resolution of the other problems raised by the Clubs of MTN ELITE ONE and MTN ELITE TWO, to return to their sites in order to take part in the matches of the 126th and 13th ° days of the professional championships, in accordance with the programs published by the CTFP in the supreme interest of Cameroonian football”, has just published the association.
