FOOTBALL UPDATE: No point of agreement between Salah and Liverpool yet

The risk that Mo Salah could leave Anfield on a free in 2023 is increasing. The Egyptian international only has one more year on his contract and there is still no news on a possible contract extension at Liverpool.

Mohamed Salah wants to stay at Liverpool and Liverpool want to keep him. However, as the days go by there is still no agreement for a contract renewal.

The winger’s contract expires in the summer of 2023 and at the moment, there is no news about a possible extension. This could result in Salah leaving Anfield in a year on a free.

‘The Mirror’ are certain that the 30 year-old will leave after five incredible seasons, in which he has scored 156 goals and recorded 59 assists in 254 games.

The above source claim that the ex-Roma man’s stay at Liverpool will come to an end in 12 months and there is nothing that the English side can do to stop one of their best ever players from leaving on a free.

This season, Salah played in 51 games, starting 45 of them, scoring 31 goals and recording 15 assists. The Egyptian is a source of goals that Liverpool could lose if they are unable to extend his time at the club.
