Man Utd threaten to terminate Cristiano’s contract because of his attitude!
According to ‘Sky Sports’, Man Utd have given Cristiano Ronaldo an ultimatum. If the Portuguese striker does not change his attitude, they will study the possibility of terminating his contract.
Cristiano Ronaldo was not at all happy with Man Utd. And now, it is the club who have that same feeling towards the Portuguese striker. According to ‘Sky Sports’, they are not at happy at all with the Portuguese’s behaviour at Old Trafford.
It is known by everyone that the number wanted (or wants) to leave the English side in order to play in the Champions League. He has been offered to several clubs, but, at the moment, he is still playing for Man Utd. However, his attitude could make him stop wearing it eventually.
According to the cited mieda outlet, Man Utd have issued the striker an ultimatum. They are fed up of the image he is giving, the half-hearted attitude he transmits and, in short, a behaviour which they understand is neither appropiate nor professional. And this could even see him sacked.
Therefore, they are not ruling out terminating his contract if they do not notice a sudden and immediate change in his attitude. Currently, Cristiano has a contract at Old Trafford until 30th June 2023 and he receives a salary of around 17.5 million euros a year.
Man Utd coach Erik ten Hag, who is being questioned after his poor start in the Premier League, has always backed CR7. Despite the fact he did not start the league opener, he did in the second one and defended him publicly despuite his attempts to leave.
So, there is even more tension at a club which are unable to put an end to their ordinary last few seasons. The 4-0 defeat they suffered against Brentford (4-0 after 35 minutes) and the 1-2 loss at home to Brighton on matchday one have created a bad atmosphere which does not get any better with ultimatum to Cristiano Ronaldo.
