“I met the devil. I saw it with my own eyes”

“I met the devil. I saw it with my own eyes”. It is with these words that Lady Alice sums up the description of Emile Parfait Simb with whom she had the misfortune to collaborate. Lady Alice is the promoter of the African Financial Tradex Awards, an event that rewards the best African traders.

In 2019, Emile Parfait Simb applied to be nominated for the event. After investigation, the structure retains it and awards it a prize. Simb then invites Alice to Cameroon to show her his beautiful and great achievements. The young entrepreneur is seduced. In the process, the boss of Liyeplimal asks Alice to create in Ghana a branch of the Simb Group and Global Investment Trading (GIT) specializing in cryptocurrency. The young lady explains to him that fundraising for operations of this nature is not authorized in Ghana, so they decide to create Simb City, a company focused on real estate investment.

In a video posted on her Facebook page, Lady Alice acknowledges having helped Emile Parfait Simb to acquire several buildings in Ghana.

She was also appointed Director of the company. But the collaboration between the two entrepreneurs will not last. Lady Alice can’t stand her partner’s behavioral deviations. Simb inflexible, decides to separate from her. The latter claims without success the payment of its invoices. Simb refuses to pay.

As Lady Alice concentrates on her own activities, she receives a letter from Ghana’s intelligence services, accusing her of carrying out money laundering operations on Ghanaian soil. Her passport and that of her husband were seized. The couple’s assets and bank accounts are frozen by the Ghanaian authorities convinced that Lady Alice is part of a money laundering network.

Meanwhile Emile Parfait Simb, on whose behalf the buildings were purchased, refuses to help his former collaborator. Today Lady Alice has lost everything and wishes to inform national and international opinion that she has never collaborated with Emile Parfait Simb in fundraising or cryptocurrency operations. His trials are pending before the Ghanaian courts.
