In preparation for the election to the Cameroon Football Federation (Fécafoot) scheduled for December 11, delegates from the Far North, Adamaoua, North, Central and Northwest regions, support the candidate Seidou Mbombo Njoya. This is a unanimous decision that was taken at the end of a meeting held in Garoua yesterday, Sunday, December 5, 2021.
The declaration was signed by the presidents of the regional leagues of the Far North, Boubakari Bello, the North, S.M Sadou Yaouba, Adamaoua, Abbo Mohamadou, the Center, Zang Leon Aime, the president of the Regional League of the West, Koudem François and the North West, Mbigha Njah Felix.
These spokespersons of the delegates decided to bring “without reserve and without nuance” their support to the prince of Foumban for various reasons: his “laudable record”, his “convincing, realistic and innovative electoral program”, “his long experience in soccer, his privileged position within the umbrella bodies of international soccer and his consensual personality”, and “taking into account the concordance between the ambitions” of the candidate and the expectations of the regions mentioned above.
It should be recalled that at the end of last week, the former captain of the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon and his campaign team and his former teammate Rigobert Song, went to Garoua, to meet the delegates.
