FECAFOOT Calls on Cameroonian fans to buy tickets for Qatar 2022
Since July 5, the organizers of the FIFA World Cup which will be played at the end of this year in Qatar have launched the last phase of ticket sales to access the stadiums. The president of the Cameroonian Football Federation (Fecafoot) took the opportunity to ask the supporters of the Indomitable Lions to take advantage of it.
“As president of Fecafoot, I will be there to encourage the Indomitable Lions. Join me in securing your tickets and accommodation for the greatest show in the world,” posted Samuel Eto’o Fils (pictured) on his official Facebook page.
This last phase of sales ends on July 16th. Qatar 2022 organizers say demand is currently very high. A situation that causes long waiting times on the platform dedicated to the sale of tickets. The organizers advise for this to hurry, because only the principle “first come, first served” is applied.
The prices vary according to the matches. According to RMC Sport, the match between Brazil and Cameroon is the second most expensive match of the group stage which begins on November 21. A ticket for this match is sold at 700 euros, approximately 458,000 FCFA.
There are a little more than 3 million tickets available in all. But only 2 million tickets are reserved for sale and 1 million reserved for FIFA and its partners. More than 800,000 were sold during the first phase last March.
