Eneo is a limited company with minority public capital, concessionaire for the production, distribution and sale of electrical energy in Cameroon.
Eneo Cameroon claims an energy distribution efficiency estimated at 75.73% in the first quarter of 2022, up 3 points compared to the same period in 2021.
This upward trend, explains the energy company, is linked to the continuation of the fight against fraud. Thus, 11,000 installation inspections per month enabled the conversion of 36,000 illegal consumers into normal customers during the first quarter and the arrest of fraudsters identified both internally and externally.
Moreover, indicates the company, this performance in the distribution of electrical energy has been improved thanks to the stability of the distribution network. This has made it possible to record better continuity of service on this network with the reduction in the number of incidents and the duration of outages due to this network.
Precisely, concerning these aforementioned performances, what about the frequent power cuts at all times?
In a press release signed by ENEO and of which the Cameroon scop4.com editorial staff had a copy, cuts will take place this Sunday in at least sixty localities in Yaoundé and in the center.
