CDC LAND GRABBING IN LIMBE, FRANKLIN NGOKI SENDS WARNING
CDC LAND GRABBING IN LIMBE… FRANKLIN NGOKI SENDS WARNING MESSAGE
The Director General of the Cameroon Development Corporation (Cdc) has signed a statement denouncing the act.
The land of the Cameroon Development Corporation (CDC) is obviously very coveted lately. According to the general manager of the country’s largest employer, Franklin Ngoki Njie, some people are trying to encroach on parcels of land leased by the company in the Bota oil palm nursery at Mile 2 in the locality of Limbe (South West), on the grounds that they were allocated to them by an administrative authority.
“Know that the portion of land that constitutes the oil palm nursery of the Cdc in Mile 2 Limbe, remains an integral part of the land lease of the CDC in Limbe and no portion has been transferred to a third party, association or company. There is also no contemplation of any transfer at this time.
If and when a transfer is contemplated, its implementation must strictly respect the due process that has been provided by the State,” warns Franklin Ngoki Njie.
According to him, anyone attempting an illegal enterprise does so at his or her own risk, as the CDC will take all necessary legal measures to bring the perpetrators to justice.
