A conciliation hearing was held today, September 15, 2022 at the Nanterre court in the case between FECAFOOT and Coq Sportif. The lawyers from FECAFOOT and Coq Sportif were present.
The judge after having read the request of Coq sportif and its requirements, the lawyers of FECAFOOT did not discuss. They did not object to anything and immediately accepted the conciliation which must be held before a judge next week, still at the Nanterre court. The hearing did not last 45 minutes.
At FECAFOOT, there is consternation. Because so far they had indicated that they did not want to negotiate anything with CoQ Sportif. Samuel Eto’o did not even respond to letters from Coq Sportif who asked for explanations and prior discussions before any breach of contract.
This back-pedalling of FECAFOOT only a few hours after the visit of the president of CoQ Sportif, Marc Henry Beausire to the presidency of the Republic and the meeting between Yannick Noah and the prime minister, Dion Ngute.
In front of the French justice CoQ Sportif asked to make the world 2022 in Qatar. In addition to this as FECAFOOT wants to break the contract in 2022 while it ends in 2023, CoQ Sportif will also ask FECAFOOT to pay the exit rights.
