Tongues are loosened at the Cameroonian Football Federation (Fecafoot). The sacred union around President Samuel Eto’o is cracking day after day. The methods of the new boss of Fecafoot are increasingly challenged by his closest collaborators. After the disaster departure of the secretary general of Fecafoot, Benjamin Didier Banlock, the situation did not improve. Samuel Eto’o according to sources at Fecafoot, infantilized the executive committee of the body. Several decisions are taken without the members of the Comex being informed. The rupture of the collaboration with the French equipment manufacturer Le Coq Sportif, even if it was welcomed by the majority of Cameroonians, was a one-man decision by Samuel Eto’o.

The executive committee is unaware of all the ins and outs of the procedure which led to the choice of the American company “One Sport”, unknown in the world of football until then.

I have the painful obligation to tell you that the plan was planned in advance by FEYCAFOOT”, declared Adolarc Lamissia, a great detractor of Samuel Eto’o, before specifying that the executive committee had not been associated with the project.

For its part, the newspaper Jean Bruno Tagne, who was Samuel Eto’o’s campaign manager in December 2021, no longer hides his disappointment. He openly criticized Eto’o’s methods in the newspaper Le Monde before questioning his ability to hold on at the head of Fecafoot until the end of his term.
