After Biya: ‘Many will beg us to help them flee’…Jean-Claude Mbede

Some political analysts are already thinking about the post-Biya era

– For them, the battle for the succession of Paul Biya will be merciless

– This is the case of Jean-Claude Mbede Fouda

President Paul Biya will soon be in power for 40 years. Some political analysts believe that after the departure of the current president of Cameroon, the battle for his succession will be without mercy. Not to mention the settling of scores and witch hunts.

Jean-Claude Mbede Fouda believes that things will be such that several pundits of the current regime will leave the country. “Soon, many will beg us to help them flee Cameroon. While we will go to Cameroon to rebuild. Lodges and cults will no longer be the only way to become a member of parliament or speak on TV. The time has come,” wrote the journalist on his twitter account on Saturday.

It must be said that the after Biya is already cogitating in the head of several Cameroonians. This is the case of Guibai Gatama, the spokesman of the movement “10 million northerners”. He has only one dream: to see a citizen of the Great North succeed Paul Biya in the supreme magistracy.

Being president of the Republic is also the dream of several politicians: Maurice Kamto who continues to challenge the results of the 2018 presidential election; Cabral Libii…

A survey conducted by the Anglophone activists of the platform “English Cameroon for a United Cameroon”, gives Maurice Kamto and Joseph Dion Ngute favorites to succeed Paul Biya.

The two politicians are followed by Marafa Hamidou Yaya or Alamine Ousmane Mey.
